GEER Sound & Communications has become the area's premier designer and installer of  educational media and sound equipment in Vermont.
GEER Sound's relationship with school districts started over 10 years ago with sales of basic audiovisual equipment and the installation of many intercom systems in local schools and colleges. The number and scope of these relationships grew quickly as multimedia, especially the increased use of integrated sound, computer media, and video projection systems, became an integral part of instructional material programs.
Many public and private school systems at all educational levels have utilized GEER Sound expertise to integrate audiovisual systems into both established and newly built facilities.

Several years ago the University of Vermont selected GEER Sound as the preferred provider for classroom audiovisual equipment and design. We have since designed and installed systems in over 125 classrooms, computer labs, auditoriums, and meeting facilities throughout the U.V.M. campus. We have established similar relationships with Dartmouth College, St. Michael's College, Norwich University and Champlain College, as well as most of the major public school districts in our area. |
